General Updates of Interest

• ISAF has approved the use of Dyneema Life Lines. Oddly they will not allow crew to hike out with them yet. VARC has adopted this change for their NOR but hopes that when ISAF meets again will put better guidelines in for the use of Dyneema Life Lines as it was apparently rushed through. - I am not sure how this is terribly relevant but it is out there.
• Fees have changed for 2010. A single day event is $45 and a two day event is $60. The series discount will be reduced to one for the entire VARC series due to lack of interest and administration time. There were only 20 boats that took advantage of the discount.
• VARC has sourced a Sponsorship Volunteer who's goal it will be to drum up event and website sponsors.

Division 7 Updates

• 2010 NOR Scoring Update for Division 7: For 2010, we maintain our scoring, exactly as 2009.
• 2010 NOR Fleet Championship Update for Division 7: We will also maintain our 3 drops and seperate scoring for 2 day events. This was reduced for the rest of the divisions due to a decrease in the number of events to two drops.
