February Beer Night, Wed 10th, 6:30PM, at Quantum

So...

1. The Olympics are making access to VRC somewhat problematic, as the club is now Saxony House for the duration.
2. It's time for the 2010 PHRF certs and this year the renewal forms are good enough.. we are supposed to submit a clean new application
3. A lot of you have been bitchin' about old baggy sails, talking trash and kevlar, "cheater" ratings, blah blah..
4. Rob has launched his own crusade regarding rating transparency and PHRF reform. Regardless, we really need to enforce the valid 2010 PHRF certificate rule, this year.

All the Birds with One Stone..

This month's beer night (Wednesday night) has moved to the Quantum Sails (our sponsor!) Loft in North Van. The exact address is: #3-246 East First Street, North Vancouver. North Vancouver.

• BYOB, for yourselves and the host!
• Bring any sails you want measured properly and accurately for your 2010 PHRF apps.
• Dave will give us the tour (very interesting!) answer our questions (including sail trim :-) and give any insta-quotes for new stuff, repairs and a bunch of used sails he has lying around..
• This is casual - and there is a very nice pub directly across the street for after
• I will print up some PHRF applications and the measuring rules document from BC Sailing. I 'll also bring a long tape - even though I am sure Dave has lots
