RIPS Race Week, Aug 14th-18th

Go to the rips.ca website and plan your August sailing/racing schedule! You’ve heard the talk about the best run Regatta on the coast and as they do each year a minimum amount of boats are required to sign on before January 31st. In 2009, 14 boats registered just for PHRF 185+ and the fleet sailed 13 races in 5 days! Check out the website to see all the divisions and the competitors in one design and PHRF. Re new old acquaintances, make new ones.

The motto at RIPS: "Where fun happens naturally because Race management is priority #1.". No other event I’ve done comes close to the amazing job these people do. If you’ve never been but have thought about going, do it now.

Last year the Regatta sold out. It may be early to commit as far as local events go to, but that is just the way it is with the best events. You can’t register for Antigua Race week the month before and the same applies at RIPS. It will be sold out as long as a minimum boats register by the deadline.
