Well, it looks like we will need to rename this division the VARC C&C 27 Division next season.. After a reasonably competitive season, the three of them (MYSTIC, PEGASUS, LARK) finished 1-2-3. Mind you, Gerry and Richard have been at this for quite a while..
Here are the final standings after Fraser Lightship (which by the way was only attended by VOLARE - thanks Mike! the rest of us suck)

The clincher was the English Bay Scramble (or should I say Passage Island? :-) : MYSTIC won and grabbed a good eight points, even after grounding at Passage, while LARK (who was leading the series at that time) got stuck behind the island all day and DNF-ed!
Looking at the results, I 'd say we should probably drop Lightship next season, perhaps replace it with Deep Cove? Or one of the regattas? Up to you guys... I am quite surprised a the lack of participation at Summer Regatta though .. even though a lot of us were away on holidays.
I suggest we get together at one of the upcoming TCYC beer Thursdays and brainstorm next season.

Well done Mystic!
To be fair, Lark, Dusty Mac, and Highstrung were experienced skippers when I started with Pegasus in 1997. Marbella used to be Thoreen, a t-bird that sailed circles around me when I was starting. Experience pays.
Of my 12 seasons racing in VARC, this one has been the most fun. I hope you will all be back next season.
